Celebratory Guest Post: Shannon from Little Kids Grow

Today we have the amazing Shannon of Little Kids Grow here to help us celebrate, sharing her very own Breeze Top (which I can attest to being a winner).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My favorite tween pattern this summer has definitely been The Breeze Top for Girls, sizes 8-16. I may be a little biased since I designed it, but truthfully, I really do love it! (I have one in my size too.) I'm a super busy mom that just happens to love making clothing for my kids. I don't have a lot of time, so I need something quick that I can whip up that won't end up in my "to do" pile.
Here's my 70s inspired version. This one was in a woven. The peach bodice was made out of linen, and the extra billowy skirt was made from a vintage tablecloth with embroidered flowers. It took less than an hour to sew together which in my book is always awesome.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary. I look forward to another great year!
  1. Such a great dress! I wish I could get my daughter into something pretty like that, but she's a confirmed tomboy, lol. Your model is lovely too, Shannon.
