Would Your Tween Wear a Romper/Jumpsuit?

As I look at tween fashion and catch up on the boards I'm following on Pinterest, I've noticed more and more romper/jumpsuit type outfits creeping into the tween sizes, being marketed towards tweens.

So my question for you is, Would your tween wear a romper/jumpsuit?

As both of us here at Sew Cool for the Tween Scene are in situations where we can't really sew, we thought it would be fun to have some "discussions" about sewing. So tell us what you think!

  1. mine would, but honestly mine would wear a paper bag if I suggested it, she's pretty happy to wear whatever :) We haven't kicked into the years where whatever I say, she wants opposite..... Is it terrible that my first thought when thinking about jumpsuits is, "how do you go to the bathroom without being naked?" I can only imagine sitting in a stall when back at school, with your whole outfit around your ankles.

  2. I've seen a lot of jumpsuits out there lately in adult/teen/kids, and I always think the same thing: getting naked in the bathroom! I did make some for my daughter 3 or 4 years ago, and they were cute, she liked them, etc. I just don't think they are super practical.

  3. The bathroom thought is always the first thing I think of too! I'm thinking a mock romper with the top and bottom separate but looks as they are meant to go together is the way to go.

We love comments! How else would we know if we are being helpful or giving you the content you need and want? Also, if you have an idea on how to make custom pre-teen clothes, please tell us about it!
